Especially in this day and age where everything is so expensive (talking about #property especially), it seems that it is way more difficult to get ahead. Playing victim mentality and blaming the world, government and others is the easiest way out.

However, as I read further, the information blows my mind. According to Ramsey Solutions, “The top five careers for millionaires include engineer, accountant, teacher, management and attorney. 79% of millionaires did not receive any inheritance at all from their parents or other family members”. Then you also have people like Oprah Winfrey, J.K Rowling, Dwayne Johnson (The Rock), Howard Schultz (Starbucks) and many others who grew up poor and overcoming great obstacles.

The moral of the story is, if we are able-bodied and mind then we, too have a chance. It comes down to our attitude and mindset towards life. Playing victim, blaming world and others, and living this life as if the world owes you something is definitely the way to stay stuck.

As long as we are breathing, God still has a purpose for our life, and His plans are to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11).
